The doors of a metro train on the HUDA City Centre-Jahangirpuri route were found to be open between two stations, following which the train operator has been suspended for negligence, a Delhi Metro Rail Corporation spokesperson said on Thursday.

Around 9:40 am, the left side doors of the train moving from Arjangarh to Ghitorni metro station on Line-2 were found to be open.

Prima facie, it is an error by the train operator and he has been suspended with immediate effect, the spokesperson said.

There is no report of injury to any passenger or damage and metro trains are running as per schedule. The spokesperson said the matter is being investigated.
