Two tigresses, who had been terrorising villages in Sunderbans for weeks, have finally been captured.
Forest officials at Pirkhali trapped the wild cats. This was the 32nd such incident in the last 10 months in the Sunderbans.
The two tigresses, who had strayed from the mangrove jungles, were preying on cattle and dogs. One of these tigresses, a six-year-old, had strayed in July. She was trapped and released only to return in the first week of September.
