Raj Thackeray's birthday celebration

Raj Thackeray celebrated his bithday in very low-key fashion at his residence in Dadar in central Mumbai.

A donation box was kept outside Thackeray's residence to collect funds for his party. Thackeray had requested party leaders and workers not to spend money on garlands and boquets but to donate this money to the party fund. 

Raj Thackeray was felicitated by senior Maharshtra Navnirman Sena leader Bala Nandgaonkar. Thackeray also launched an ambulance service to mark this day.
