PHOTOS: Bulls hit the streets in Spain, everyone's on the run

Thousands of daredevils put their bravery to test as they poured into medieval lanes of northern Spain’s Pampolna city, dodging raging bulls. Rediff.com brings you the latest action from the annual San Fermin bull fighting festival.

The annual San Fermin festival, famous for the running of the bulls event, started on Saturday and runs until July 14.

Pamplona's famous Fiesta de San Fermin, which involves the running of the bulls through the historic heart of Pamplona for eight days, which started July. It was made famous by the 1926 novel of American writer Ernest Hemmingway called The Sun Also Rises.
