Narendra Modi arrived in Mumbai on Monday on his first visit to Mumbai after becoming the Prime Minister.
Modi was received at the ChhatrapatiShivajiInternationalAirport by Maharashtra Governor K Sankaranarayanan and Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan.
During his trip, the prime minister will be visiting the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre where he is likely to be briefed on the development of the Indian Pressurised Water Reactor, large scale accelerators, Indian Neutrino Observatory and large size nuclear recycle plants during his visit, a state government official said.
He would interact with the scientists of Department of Atomic Energy and BARC as well
Later in the evening, the prime minister will fly back to New Delhi
