On August 7, 2007, Sanmit Patel was able to meet Narendra Modi at the chief minister’s office in Gujarat. Speaking about the ‘happiest time of his life’, Patel says the then chief minister of Gujarat had asked him for his name and occupation.

Suketu Vasavada met Narendra Modi in 2005 during a Display of Ayurvedic Herbs by Ashok Sheth. Speaking about the brief encounter, Vasavada said that Modi spoke brilliantly about the importance of finding better ways of packaging and marketing Ayurveda products internationally.
