Shwaas out of Oscar race

Sandeep Sawant's Marathi film Shwaas has failed to make it to the Oscar nominations.

The film was India's official entry in the foreign film category.

"We are out of the race. Our film is not nominated," a member of the Shwaas team, Ajay Bane said on Tuesday.
