Surendra Shetty, father of actress Shilpa Shetty allegedly involved in a case of extortion, on Thursday surrendered his passport at the Umra police station in Surat as per directives of the Gujarat high court.

Surendra has been summoned by the investigating officer on June six by 1030 IST to Umra police station to aid the probe in the matter, police said.
