Sharad Yadav is all set to be retained as the national president of the Janata Dal-United for the third term, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar told mediapersons in Patna on Monday.

Nitish Kumar told newspersons after his weekly janata darbar that Sharad Yadav will continue to be JD-U president for third term. “It would be formally announced at the party national executive meeting in New Delhi on April 13 -14,” he informed.

By announcing Sharad Yadav’s name for the top post of the party, Nitish Kumar has put an end to the ongoing speculation in Bihar that Yadav will be replaced this time.
