Separatist leader Asiya Andrabi was arrested from her residence in Shoura, Srinagar on Friday for anti-national activities.

Chief of the radical women's outfit Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Asiya, was arrested in connection with two cases registered against her. One for waving Pakistani flags and other for addressing a rally by Hafiz Saeed via phone in Pakistan recently, a police official said.

She has been sent to women's police station Rambagh, Srinagar. According to sources in the DeM, she is not keeping well.

In her telephonic address to the rally, organised in Lahore on August 14 of this year, Andrabi greeted the people of the neighbouring country on their Independence Day.
