Jammu and Kashmir has been hit by three terror attacks in three hours. Unidentified gunmen shot at a civilian in Tral in south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Monday.

Earlier in the afternoon, three policemen were killed in a terrorist attack in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Talking to the media about the second attack, a senior police officer said that militants opened fire at the three cops, one head constable and two constables in  the Amshipora village in Shopian district, nearly 55 km from Srinagar. He said the slain policemen were unarmed.

“The policemen had gone to the village for an investigation when militants opened fire at them. Three cops died on the spot,” said the officer.

Senior police officers have rushed to the village were a search operation has been launched.

Another cop was injured in when terrorists boarded a moving bus in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.

Sub Inspector Ghulam Mustafa was shot at and injured by two  pistol-borne militants in a bus which was on its way to Pattan, a police official said.

The driver of the bus drove the bus to a local police post where the cops shifted their injured colleague to hospital, he said.
