SC notice to Andhra govt on plea against Telangana stir

It also issued notices to the registrar general of the state high court and the Andhra Pradesh Bar Association on the petitioner's allegation that judicial activities have been adversely affected by the protests.

The apex court was agitated that court work was being paralysed. "They can't prevent judges from discharging their constitutional functions," the SC said.

The HC registrar has been directed to inform the apex court about the number of days the court did not function because of the strike. The bar association has been directed to file an affidavit indicating what action had been taken against the advocates who had given a boycott call.
The state government will have to file its response on the damage caused by the Telangana agitation

The petitioner filed a bunch of pleas seeking the apex court's intervention in the Telangana agitation and the damage caused by it to public property. On preventing the formation of a separate state the SC said, "It is premature. We can't prevent the government from taking a decision."

However, the petitioner was given the permission to approach the apex court once the decision on statehood is taken.
