Congress Spokesmen Abihshek Singhvi and Rajiv Shukla, Union Minister Dasari Narayan Rao and sitting MP Rashid Alvi have been nominated by the party for the Rajya Sabha elections.
Singhvi has been nominated from Rajasthan, Rao and Alvi from Andhra Pradesh and Shukla from Maharahstra.
Former party General Secretary Satyavrat Chaturvedi has been given nomination from Uttaranchal. With this, Congress has announced 13 Rajya Sabha nominations.
