Karunanidhi overtakes Jayalalithaa as biggest newsmaker in TN

Kerala and Tamil Nadu will be going to polls on May 16 and ahead of the assembly elections, Rediff Labs analyses who’s been making the most buzz.

To measure the media buzz created by the candidates from leading parties contesting the elections the Rediff Labs team analysed data for the last eight months.

The graphics shows what kind of buzz each candidate has been making.

In Tamil Nadu, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam chief Karunanidhi has overtaken All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam’s Jayalalithaa as the biggest newsmaker while in Kerala, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy is quite buzzworthy.
