Inquiry ordered into Mandore Express derailment

The Railways ordered an inquiry, on Friday, into the train derailment near Jaipur that left six persons dead. Commissioner of Railway Safety, Western Circle, Prashant Kumar is inquiring into the mishap, railway sources said.

The Jodhpur-Delhi Mandore Express derailed near Bassi town, about 40

km from Jaipur. Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee has asked Minister of State for Railways, E Ahamed to visit the accident site.

Member, Engineering (Railway Board) Rakesh Chopra has already reached the site along with senior railway officials, they said.
