A policeman was killed and a civilian wounded when terrorists ambushed a posse of the special operations group if the state police in south Kashmir Monday afternoon.
A senior police officer said terrorists opened indiscriminate fire at the SOG personnel at Arwani in south Kashmir this afternoon. “One cop died on the spot while a civilian was wounded,” the officer said.
He said the injured civilian was immediately shifted to hospital. The area, he said was cordoned for searches.
