Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had a telephonic conversation with United States President Barack Obama on Monday evening.

Sources in the Prime Minister's Office said that the conversation was 'warm,' and it 'covered wide ranging subjects.'

Both the leaders discussed 'ways to ensure further growth and development in India-US relations and situation in the region.'

This is the first high level communication after the US military operation deep inside Pakistan that killed Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

The case will have a far-reaching impact and will be great a boon to India's legal case to get justice for Mumbai attacks.
