Kuwait pilot loses license after allowing porn star into cockpit

A pilot for Kuwait Airways had his license revoked in response to an incident in 2013 where he allowed an adult film actress into the plane's cockpit.

The pilot, who was not named, allegedly allowed ex-porn star Chloe Khan into the cockpit alongside her "glamorous friend" during a flight from London to JFK airport in New York, representing a violation of stricter regulations implemented after 9/11.

Communications Minister Essa Al-Kandari stated an investigation was launched when news of the incident emerged in July.

Following reports that the pilot smoked a cigar in the cockpit, invited Khan to sit on his knee and offered them champagne, Al-Kandari ordered an "immediate recall" of the pilot's license.

Heard of the ladybeard trend that's going viral?

Women with beards? Yes, that seems to be the latest rage on social media.

And it all seems to have stemmed from a Reddit post from seven months ago which now has more than 100,000 views.

Police give donkey a lift in patrol car

Police in Oklahoma have given a donkey a lift in their patrol car after rescuing the roaming animal.

Officers in Norman, just southeast of Oklahoma City, responded to a report that the animal was on the loose on Tuesday morning, Sky News reported.

Officer Kyle Canaan managed to round up the donkey but felt he had no choice other than to put it into his vehicle in order to keep it safe. Norman Police Department's Facebook account later posted the picture taken at the time and released a statement explaining what had happened.

Police in Norman called the donkey Squishy and gave him a lift after the animal was found wandering along a rural road on Tuesday morning. It turns out that Squishy is actually named Cruz and belongs to a chiropractor in Norman.

Why this Indian is treated like devil in his village

Twenty-year-old Arun Rajput has been forced to live the life of a recluse by those in the remote village of Farrukhabad in Uttar Pradesh, northern India.

The reason -- he was born with four legs. The two extra limbs -- believed to be from an undeveloped parasitic twin -- have been dangling from his back since birth. He has become an outcast after villagers labelled him a devil.

Rajput told mirror.co.uk: "People laugh at me. They say I am a devil. No one respects me here because I look different. But I want to be like one of them. I want to work like other man. I want to do normal things and be treated like a normal person."

Oops! Activist's pants fall while receiving peace award from Croatian president

Ivan Zvonimir Cicak, a human rights activist, was left red faced after his trousers fell down just as he was receiving an important award from Croatian president Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.

The head of the Croatian Helsinki Committee for Human Rights was photographed looking shamefaced as his slacks slumped around his ankles, before defiantly picking them up again and carrying on, Mirror.co.uk reported.

Luckily, Cicak's dignity was saved by the fact Grabar-Kitarovic was holding the largee award in her hands, preventing anyone getting a glimpse of his underwear. She did not appear to react and remained calm despite a brief glance downwards and a smile as he stooped to pull them back up.

This hair stylist will blow your hair away!

Heard of the hair stylist actually uses fire and swords as tools?

Madrid salon owner Alberto Olmedo masterfully employs flames from a blowtorch, slicing Samurai swords, razor-sharp talons and even the occasional pair of scissors to create his signature hair styles.

Although Olmedo says that his methods are "practically primitive" and "medieval", he believes that he can only achieve symmetry by addressing both sides at once.

A video posted by news outlet AJ+ is making the rounds with Olmedo plying his attention-grabbing craft.

A spokeswoman for Olmedo told The Huffington Post "that we seek solutions to meet the demand of our customers" and that certain haircut results are "not possible with a single scissors."

Typo wrongly announces Chinese president's resignation

Four journalists have been suspended after a typo wrongly announced the "resignation" of China's president.

Xi Jinping had been at a China-Africa summit in Johannesburg when the China News Service published a report quoting him as saying in his "resignation" that China and Africa had a shared destiny in their histories.

Writers at the state-owned news agency had mixed up the Mandarin words for "speech" (zhi ci) and "resignation" (ci zhi).

So, instead of simply delivering a speech, China's president was "resigning".

A number of other news outlets used the story -- including the mistake -- before the agency was able to issue a correction.

You can now study pizza at college

Love pizza? Then this college major will be as easy as pie. Students in England will learn how to make the perfect pie as part of a new degree.

Manchester Metropolitan University has teamed up with the Pizza Hut restaurant chain to offer the course, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Candidates won't just be topping flatbread with tomato sauce and cheese before slamming it in the oven, or debating the merits of thin versus sausage crusts, however.

They'll also learn everything needed to run their own successful business, from health and safety aspects to financial analysis, according to the Express & Star.

For sale: South Dakota ghost town for $250,000

An entire town in South Dakota, US, complete with its own watering hole, is on sale for $250,000, Reuters reported.

The roughly 6-acre (2.5-hectare) town of Swett, includes a tavern, three-bedroom house and a former tire shop about 100 miles (160 km) southeast of Rapid City, South Dakota.

Realtor Stacie Montgomery said potential buyers have expressed interest from the United States and beyond since she first listed the property for sale in June 2014, though several written offers fell through and she has since dropped the price from $399,000 to $250,000.

One of those offers included a call from a Russian movie production company that wanted to film there, she said.

What is making these cars levitate?

A video, showing three cars suddenly and bizarrely pulled into the air by some unseen force, has gone viral after being released on website LiveLeak.

Little detail accompanied the clip, so it is not known if anyone in the cars, one of which ended up on its side, were injured.

But it was said to be filmed the the central China city of Xingtai.

Yes, the odd alien theory did emerge. However, Chinese media reported that it was caused by a length of steel cable, caught in the brush of a street sweeper, which made the cable lift into the air slightly, and pull the cars upwards they drove past.

You figure out if that explains it.
