‘Donald Trump’ took Times Square by storm on Tuesday along with a group of scantily-dressed women as part of a project by spoof photographer Alison Jackson.
The British artist, known for her candid photographs of celebrity lookalikes, said she spent ‘months’ searching for the perfect lookalike to portray the Republican presidential candidate.
Jackson juxtaposed her ‘Trump’ alongside scantily-clad women dubbed ‘beauty queens,’ who held signs featuring degrading messages Trump has been accused of using.
“You can’t grab America by the p****,” one sign read.
Another read ‘Miss Piggy,’ a phrase the Republican nominee allegedly used to describe former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, which Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton referenced during the first presidential debate.
The performance started at Trump International, in Manhattan and then made its way to Trump Tower, but not before being stopped by New York Police on its way.
Jackson’s best-known pictures include Marilyn Monroe undressing in front of President John F Kennedy, Queen Elizabeth washing dishes, and US President Barack Obama on a cigarette break.
