Ending a prolonged dry spell, Shimla on Sunday experienced this winter’s first impressive snowfall, bringing cheer to the tourism industry as well as apple cultivators.
Snowfall was also experienced at Kullu Manali where tourists have already arrived hoping to spend their weekend with a walk in the snow.
Cold conditions are set to intensify in Himachal Pradesh. Upper areas of Shimla also received ample snowfall due to which roads were blocked in many areas bringing traffic to a standstill.
