#Mahashivratri: Om Namah Shivay echoes across India

People across India on Tuesday offered prayers on Mahashivratri, believed to be a celebration of the wedding of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. In many places, devotees stayed awake all night, sang hymns and chanted ‘Om Namah Shivay’ to seek the Lord’s blessings.
