A curtain raiser to Mumbai's favourite festival

The ten-day-long Ganesha festival begins on September 17, Thursday, and Mumbai is going all out to welcome the its favourite deity to their homes and public pandals. Rediff.com brings you snapshots from across the city, as it gears up for the celebrations.
