The world's biggest military airshow at RAF Fairford in United Kingdom stunned audiences as cutting edge aircraft took to the skies.

The visitors were treated to action-packed displays featuring fast jets, giant transporters and historic aircraft.

But the most attractive part of the airshow was Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II. This most advanced fighter jet in the world was displayed for the first time outside the United States as it took top billing at the Royal International Air Tattoo.

The airshow is organised by the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust raising money and awareness for the trust.

Here are few glimpses of the show.
