Paswan's condition stable

The condition of Union Chemical and Fertilisers Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, who suffered a mild heart attack, is stable, sources at the hospital where he is undergoing treatment said.

Paswan is in the intensive care unit at Escorts Heart Institute and would remain there for a couple of days, they said.

Paswan was admitted to a cardiac speciality hospital in Patna on Saturday morning after he omplained of uneasiness, congestion and pain in the chest.

The 59-year leader was suspected to have suffered a mild heart attack and subsequently flown to Escorts Heart
Institute and Research Centre.

A team of doctors from the hospital accompanied him from Patna.
