The Panvel court on Sunday remanded Nationalist Congress Party MP, Padamsinh Patil to Central Bureau of Investigation's custody till June 20 after the agency said they want to conduct further investigations in the case.

The CBI, while seeking Patil's custody, said they are yet to conduct searches in his residence and that they have to
probe the involvement of more politicians in the case.

The CBI, in the remand, have also stated that they want to conduct narco tests on Patil as he is not co-operating with the investigations.

Patil
has filed an application stating that the CBI is pressurising him to give a confessional statement and undergo scientific tests like narco analysis and brain mapping.

"I do not intend to give any confessional statement as I have done nothing wrong and I do not want to undergo any scientific tests due to health reasons," the application states.

Meanwhile, two other arrested accused in the case- Satish Mandade and Mohan Shukla have been remanded to judicial
custody till June 26.
