The Central Bureau of Investigation, probing the case of amassing allegedly disproportionate wealth by Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, filed a third chargesheet in the special Central Bureau of Investigation court in Hyderabad on Monday naming him as the prime accused.

The 88-page chargesheet, containing 142 documents and 72 witness accounts, also Jagan's auditor Vijayasai Reddy (A-2) an accused.

Indian Administrative Service officer Venkatarami Reddy, Ramky Group chairman Ayodhyarami Reddy, Jagati Publications (publisher of Sakshi Telugu daily) and Ramky  Pharma India Limited have been named as the other accused in the case.

The CBI said Ramky had invested Rs 10 crore in Jagati Publications as a quid pro quo for the benefits it secured from the then government headed by Jagan's father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

The agency had already filed two chargesheets in the disproportionate assets case and has arrested only Vijayasai Reddy so far. Vijayasai, however, is now out on bail granted by the special CBI court.

Meanwhile, CBI filed a petition in the state high court on Monday challenging the special court's order granting bail to Jagan's auditor. The petition will come up for hearing on May 9.
