One person killed was killed and five were injured in a powerful bomb blast at Uripok Tourangbam Leikai area in Imphal West district on Thursday evening, official sources said.
The bomb exploded at a rented house of a woman identified as Ningthoujam Priyoshakei of Uripoak Tourangbam Leikai area in Imphal West district, the sources said.
The bomb was hurled by unidentified persons at the rented house, sources said. The injured persons were rushed to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences hospital for treatment, the sources added.
