Family appoints British coroner to monitor Nadia case

The family of Nadia Khan, who was killed on the sets of Indian film director Kaizad Gustad's <i>Mumbai Central</i>, has decided to appoint a British coroner to monitor the case in India, sources close to the family said on Tuesday night.

Nadia was an assistant director to
Gustad.

They have also filed a complaint against Ayesha Shroff, wife of Bollywood star Jackie Shroff and the film's financier, with Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde and the police commissioner in Mumbai.

Linda Perham, MP for Ilford, has sent a letter to British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw and Indian Home Minister Shivraj Patil seeking full cooperation and help for the family.
