Music composer Nadeem on Friday withdrew his application before the Bombay High Court seeking the quashing of an Interpol Red Corner Notice and a non-bailable warrant issued against him for his alleged involvement in the murder of T-Series chief Gulshan Kumar.

Nadeem's father, Yusuf Saifee, had made the application in the high court, saying that the two notices against his son had hindered him from travelling outside Britain, where he has taken asylum.

The Red Corner Notice and the warrant were issued against Nadeem in September 1997 for his alleged involvement in the murder case.

Nadeem's extradition from Britain was stopped by an order of a court in that country, which held there was insufficient evidence against him.
