The two, who have since been placed under suspension, are among the four officials against whom cases under section 302 of the IPC have been registered on Sunday night by the family members of the deceased, police said, even as the toll on Monday rose to 10 with one more person succumbing to injuries.
Both Kunal and Dan were removed from their positions on September 16 and were replaced by Gaurav Goyal and Vikas Kumar respectively.
Then additional SP of the district, Om Prakash, was among the other two against whom the case has been lodged.
According to police, six cases were registered against the then officials under the same section of IPC and three cases were registered against villagers for damage to property.
Police said, "40-year-old Shabbir, a resident of Pathravli village of Gopalgarh, was admitted to Sawai Man Singh government hospital in Jaipur and died at around 1 am today."
He was injured during the violent clashes between Mev Muslims and Gujjars following a land-related dispute on September 14 in Gopalgarh area of the district, they said.
Five bodies have been buried so far and three bodies in Jaipur and two in Bharatpur have been handed over to their relatives for burial, SP Vikas Kumar said.
Meanwhile, curfew was relaxed in Gopalgarh, Kaman, Jurehra, Pahadi and Sikari for 12 hours from 7 am with gradual improvement in the situation.
Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla visited Gopalgarh. The state government has decided to hand over the case to the CBI and conduct a judicial inquiry by a retired high court judge.
