Mumbai triple blasts: Man arrested in Bihar

The investigating agencies probing the 13/7 serial blasts in Mumbai have picked up a man by the name Riazul Sarkar from Kishenganj in Bihar.

A team of the Intelligence Bureau and the National Investigating Agency are questioning the man. Although no specifics leads have spilt out as of yet, the police is treating him as a suspect in the case.

The police made the arrest based on some transcripts they found on him. Moreover, the police found his movements to be suspicious and hence picked him up. The Bihar police detained this man based on IB inputs and a tip off.

The investigators are trying to ascertain if Riazul was present at the blast spots. Also they are questioning him on any information he has regarding the incident.

The IB says that the questioning will continue until they get more details about the man.

The team is hoping that it could get more leads. Meanwhile, teams in Gujarat, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh are digging for more leads.

All persons associated with the top rung of the Indian Mujahideen are being questioned at the moment, sources in the IB said.
