Maoists fire at Chhattisgarh police station

Maoists fired at a police station in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district on Saturday evening triggering a gunbattle but there was no casualty, police said.

Naxals fired from a distance at Pamed police station, drawing retaliation from the police, they said, adding the exchange of fire continued for about 20

minutes. "However, no casualty took place in the incident," SP Bijapur, Avinash Mohanti said.
