Four separate Lokayukta teams conducted searches at Prerana Chambers, two offices of Davalagiri properties and Sahyadri healthcare in Bengaluru, Lokayukta sources said.
The raids were being conducted in connection with the Upper Bhadra case and the same was confirmed by ADGP, Lokayukta J Gaonkar.
The allegation was that a contractor had paid some money to Sohan Kumar for an alleged favour in connection with the project.
Davalagiri properties is owned by Sohan Kumar and sons of Yeddyurappa -- B Y Raghavendra, MP, and B Y Vijendra.
Speaking to reporters in Koppal, Yeddyurappa, who is campaigning for the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate in the by-poll, said he had knowledge about the raids on Monday itself.
Meanwhile, Karnataka Governor H R Bharadwaj has accepted the resignation of Justice Shivraj Patil who stepped down as the Lokayukta on Monday.
The governor in a communication from the Raj Bhavan stated that the resignation has been accepted. Justice Patil had submitted his resignation to the governor after allegations in connection with a land scam were made against him.
