Former media magnate Peter Mukerjea, arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation in connection with the sensational Sheena Bora murder case for allegedly “shielding the accused”, will be produced in a magistrate’s court in Mumbai on Friday.
Peter was booked under Section 201 of the Indian Penal Code, which relates to causing the disappearance of evidence of offence, or providing false information.
Peter Mukerjea’s wife Indrani, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and her former driver Shyamvar Rai will also be brought to the court since their judicial custody expires on Friday.

The Central Bureau of Investigation is likely to name a senior official of the Mumbai Police in the chargesheet in the Sheena Bora murder case. According to sources, the CBI may name the police official for allegedly delaying the investigation in the case.

Peter’s son Rahul was questioned by the CBI for over 12 hours on Thursday night. Rahul was asked whether he and Sheena had revealed to Peter that Sheena was not Indrani's sister but her daughter, the sources said. He was also asked if he had raised concerns about Sheena's safety after she disappeared in 2012, they said.
