Lady advocate stabbed to death inside K'taka HC

A 25-year-old lady advocate was stabbed to death in the Karnataka High Court on Thursday.

The lady advocate, Naveena was attending a matter at court hall number 4 when she was stabbed at around 1400 hours on Thursday.

Advocates Association President Putte Gowda told rediff.com that a man wearing a black coat entered the court premises and stabbed her. Naveena died on the spot.

The man who stabbed the advocate tried to kill himself. However, he was apprehended by the police and is now undergoing treatment at the Mallya Hospital in Bangalore

The motive is not known yet, but sources say that personal differences could be the reason behind the incident.
