Toddler kidnapped in Delhi rescued in Orissa

One-and-half-year-old Arpit Diwan, who was kidnapped in Delhi on January 31, was rescued on Saturday in Sundergarh district of Orissa.

Orissa police, acting on a tip-off that the prime suspect in the kidnapping, the family's maid servant Savitri Minz, had arrived in

the district, raided a house in a village near Rourkela and rescued the boy.
 
The maid has been arrested, Sundergarh SP Y K Jethwa said. "We are in touch with the Delhi police for carrying out the formalities," he added.

Arpit was kidnapped from Sriniwaspuri area of south Delhi.
