Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal said in a written reply that according to available reports, terrorist groups in India were receiving funds from abroad, mainly through hawala and informal channels.
"Flow of funds to terrorist groups is estimated to be of the order of several crores every year though the exact quantum of funds being received by them is difficult to estimate," he said.
The minister said the banned outfits include Babbar Khalsa International, Khalistan Commando Force, Khalistan Zindabad Force, Harkat-ul-Mujahideen, United Liberation Force of Asom, National Democratic Front of Bodoland, People's Liberation Army and Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam.
Some other banned outfits are Students Islamic Movement of India, Communist Party of India-Marxist-Leninist (People's War), MCC, Al Badr and Jamat-ul-Mujahideen, he added.
