3 Jaish terrorists killed in Srinagar encounter

Three Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists were killed and four security forces personnel injured during an encounter in the Pantha Chowk area in Srinagar on Friday, December 31, 2021.

One of the slain terrorists was involved in the December 13 attack on a police bus in nearby Zewan, the police said.

The three men were killed in an encounter with security forces at Pantha Chowk on the outskirts of Srinagar city.

In the exchange of fire, three police personnel and a Central Reserve Police Force trooper were also injured.

Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar identified one of the slain terrorists as Suhail Ahmad Rather.

Two Jaish terrorists involved in the Zewan attack were killed in an encounter with security forces in Anantnag on Thursday.
