Congress MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy continued his 'Odarpu yatra' (consolation tour) in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh on Monday.
Jagan began his tour from Pernamitta village and consoled a few families of those who died of shock following the death of his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in September last year.
The 37-year-old unveiled the statues of YSR at several villages and addressed the people. Highlighting the welfare schemes like tuition fees reimbursement, free power for farmers, old age pensions launched by his father, Jagan said
Despite the Congress high command's reservations, Jagan resumed his yatra in Prakasam district on September 3, a day after the first death anniversary of his father. The Congress leadership, however, indicated that it may not take any action against him for now.
A year after YSR's death, Congress still in shock
