J-K: Terrorists kill two policemen in hit-and-run attack

Two cops were killed in a terrorist hit-and-run attack on the Jammu and Kashmir police outside the district court complex in south Kashmir Pulwama town on Monday afternoon.

A senior police officer said terrorists opened fire at a passing police vehicle in Pulwama town resulting in on the spot death of a cop. “Another cop injured in the attack succumbed in the hospital,” the officer said.

Police and paramilitary, Central Reserve Police Force reinforcements rushed to the spot and the area has been surrounded for searches the officer said. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
