The Neerja Bhanot Pan Am Trust has call for nominations for the prestigious Neerja Bhanot awards.
There are two awards and each award consists of Rs 1,50,000, a citation and a trophy.
Award 1: This is given to an Indian woman who has been subjected to social injustice like dowry, desertion etc. She should have faced the situation with guts and grit and then helped other women in similar distress.
Award 2: This is given to an airline crew member who acts beyond the call of duty in a difficult situation.
Handwritten/typed nominations in English or Hindi can be sent by anyone on plain paper. There is no nomination fee. Please send as much supporting evidence as possible with translations in English or Hindi (if in some other language) to:
