Indian-origin flier charged with sexually assaulting co-passenger

An Indian-origin man has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a fellow-passenger on board a Delta flight.
Ranchhodbhai Lakha, 61, of Georgia is being charged in a federal criminal complaint with assault and sexual assault.

Lakha appeared before a US magistrate judge in Atlanta for his initial appearance. He was arrested on Monday after a passenger aboard the Delta flight from Dallas to Atlanta complained of being touched several times in an inappropriate fashion.

The passenger reported this behaviour to the flight crew, special agent in-charge Brian Lamkin at FBI Atlanta said on Thursday.
