Indian security agencies have deported a French passport holder of Algerian origin.

Ymad Bilel Benouahab was deported on May 4 by Qatar Airways flight number 233. He had come to India four days ago and visited the Pakistan high commission and Chabad House in Delhi, which raised suspicions as the national capital was on a high alert over the weekend following the terror alert from Western countries.

Benouahab was questioned at the FRRO detention centre and as he could not explain satisfactorily why he flew into India when Pakistan was his destination, was deported.
