Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reacted sharply to Team Anna's remarks on state government's draft bill on Lokayukta, describing it a "copy" of the  Centre's Lokpal draft, by saying that he did not require a certificate from any one.

An otherwise soft spoken Nitish Kumar said on Thursday in chaste Hindi "Mujhe kisi ke certificate ki zaroorat nahin hain" (I do not require a certificate from any one ) in reference to Team Anna's remarks.

Nitish also warned Team Anna to know its limit.

A day after activist Arvind Kejriwal, a key member of Team Anna, said the team hoped that Nitish Kumar, who had on June 30 promised them that he would  enact a strong Lokayukta law, brings a strong bill on the lines of the one passed  by Uttarakhand assembly.

But Bihar government's proposed Lokayukta bill is a copy of the much-criticised Centre's draft, against which Anna sat on a fast, Kejriwal had said.

Kejriwal said their team is opposed to Nitish government's bill.

Nitish said without naming Arvind Kejriwal that he should be cautious in choosing words when speaking about him.

Acording to a draft cleared by the Bihar cabinet, the Lokayukta in the state will be a three-member body led by a chairperson.

The chief minister's office will come under the ambit of the Lokayukta, as also its own investigation and prosecution   wings.

Nitish claimed that he had brought in several innovations to counter corruption and to implement welfare schemes to ensure its benefit reaches the poor.

"What I did in last six year of my rule in Bihar, no one has
done in post-independent India," Nitish added.
