Even as unconfirmed reports suggested that the cables of the CCTV were cut at the blast site in Hyderabad’s Dilsukh Nagar were cut prior to the attack, the investigating team is examining the footage it has managed to get from one of the cameras installed at a nearby bus station. Preliminary reports suggest that there were two persons who had planted the bombs around ten minutes before they went off killing 14 people and leaving 119 injured.

Police sources confirmed that some images have been obtained from the camera that was

installed by the police at the bus station in Dilsukh Nagar. “We are examining the images at the moment. The pictures are not too clear, but we should be able to get something out of it,” a police official also informed.

Asked if the wires of the CCTV cameras near the blast site were cut, the officer said, “We are not aware of any such development and are looking into the footage we managed to get from the CCTV at the bus station."

The police are also questioning eyewitnesses who will help prepare a sketch of the culprits.
