Sonia plays Holi with Congressmen

Congress president Sonia Gandhi played Holi with party workers and leaders at her 10, Janpath Road residence in New Delhi on Sunday.

"I wish people on the occasion of Holi, the festival of colours," Gandhi said while mingling with everone who had come to greet her.

Asked if she would play Holi with Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his deputy Lal Kishenchand Advani, Gandhi said, "Certainly not."

It was difficult to recognise the Congress chief, as people applied different colours on her face.

She accepted sweets and distributed them to some of the children and aged who came to greet her.

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, her Cabinet colleagues Haroon Yusuf and Arvinder Singh Lovely, DPCC president Chaudhary Prem Singh and other party leaders were present.
