A Muslim group in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on Wednesday urged the Pakistan Cricket Board to consider the city as the venue for the upcoming series in India.
Holding placards and shouting slogans, the people claimed the city was 'peaceful'.
'Ahmedabad has been peaceful for over two years now and the Pakistan cricket team should have no fear playing here,' read the placards carried by a group of 60 to 70 people.
The Gujarat Cricket Association was also hopeful that the PCB would reverse its decision.
