A 25-year-old married woman was allegedly gang raped by occupants of a share-taxi in which she was travelling, in Pune on Thursday night.
The police on Friday said the woman, an MBA in hospitality management, had gone out for an interview in Wakad area, taking a lift in the vehicle when she was abducted and allegedly raped by three persons, who too were seated in the taxi along with her.
According to Mahesh Patil, DCP, who is investigating the case, the police have detained two of the three suspects for interrogation.
He said the accused, who apparently conceived a plan of abduction on the spur of moment after the woman got into the car, asked the driver to take a round of the city.
"They consumed beer and biryani on the way and later abducted the woman taking her to an isolated spot to rape her," he added.
The victim, who originally hails from Nagpur, was staying with her relatives in the city.
The medical report in the case is still awaited, police said.
