A fearless woman in the United Kingdom has proved that age is no bar after she skydived from a height of 15,000 feet at the age of 90. Stella Gillard from Exeter, Devon confessed that she was not worried ahead of the jump to raise money for cancer charity.
Gillard's feat has raised over 1,580 pounds for World Cancer Research.
The brave pensioner undertook the jump in memory of her daughter Kathy who died of pancreatic cancer in 2012, express.co.uk reported.
"To be honest, I was not even a bit worried, not one bit. The instructor talked me through how it would go and I completely trusted him," said Gillard. Gillard said the fall before the parachute opened was a little nerve-racking just because it was so fast but as soon as the parachute opened "it was beautiful."
"I just floated down like a bird watching all the wonderful views as I went," she said.
