Karnataka and Gujarat have bagged the Computer Society of India-Nihilent awards for best e-governance, while Andhra Pradesh got the award for best e-governance project in the country.
President of CSI Lalit Sawhney told reporters in Kolkata on Friday that while Gujarat had been given the award for their e-Dhara project (land record management system), Karnataka had been awarded for Khajane (government treasury management) and Bhoomi (online delivery of land records).
Jharkhand was adjudged the best e-governed state for future potential.
Asked about West Bengal, he said that CSI did not receive any application from the state.
